What happens after the 2 weeks?
You choose. Keep Family, or do nothing and you move to Free, with every safety feature. There's no card to charge. If you get our Sunday email, we also email you a few days before it ends, with what your family used. Your child never sees anything about plans or paying.
Why is the free plan so generous?
Noodle answers with open AI models on Cloudflare's network, where a typical question costs us less than a tenth of a penny. That lets us give every family a useful free plan. We'd rather every child had a safe place to learn AI than only those whose parents can pay, and families who want more keep it running for everyone.
Less than a tenth of a penny a question, safety checks included. Measured on real use since October 2026 and checked every month.
Checking what a child asks, and what Noodle says back, costs us more than answering. That's the point.
What if a child reaches a limit?
You can set a daily limit for any child in the Kitchen, your parent dashboard. When they reach it, Noodle tells them gently and rests until tomorrow; on Family you can top up their day from the Kitchen. On Free, each child has 5 goes a day each of My Noodle, Picture Pal and Story Book, and their goes come back tomorrow; on Family there's no daily limit on any of them. Children never see anything about plans or paying.
Do the games need a lesson first?
Yes, on every plan. Each game opens once your child has tried the prompt skill it teaches: one short lesson, then a go in chat. After that, each day, the games open once Noodle has answered a question from your child. That daily rule is on by default and you can switch it off in the Kitchen.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You move back to Free and keep every safety feature. Chats are then kept for 30 days, as on Free, so older ones are deleted.
Do you offer discounts?
For schools, charities and families who need help, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Every plan has a fair-use limit to keep automated use out; a normal family never meets it.
Schools and clubs
We're planning a version for schools: a dashboard for teachers, class quizzes, safeguarding alerts sent to your safeguarding lead, and school sign-in, priced per pupil. We're starting with a small number of schools.
